Program Themes

We are looking for companies that address the following areas:

Technical and skill-based education: 

  • Education solutions to enhance the training and qualifications of the workforce, individuals’ existing skills, and interests, and close the digital divide   

  • Workforce development solutions that create career pathways and credentials, job training, and placement in engaging, purposeful jobs, including entrepreneurship and green jobs 

Financial Inclusion: 

  • Banking, saving, and lending products and services that are designed specifically for LMI Americans  

  • Digital tools and delivery mechanisms to build financial literacy and decision-making skills 

  • Solutions to create financial security through community lending, debt consolidation, financial stress reduction, tech-enabled advising, and more 

Economic Resilience:  

  • Support navigating transitions, such as job changes, post-incarceration, retirement, housing transitions, benefits cliffs, and changes in mental and physical health 

  • Solutions that improve the accessibility and usability of public and private benefits including supplemental income, nutrition, housing, insurance, transportation, childcare, and more 

  • Market-responsive technologies that future-proof talent 

Technologies that show promise in this sector include AI-enabled personalized learning, mobile-friendly low-data financial advising, AR/VR enabled training, digital identity solutions, and tools that measure and track employee engagement, skills gaps, and pathways.
