January 24, 2022
We’re excited to announce the twelve (yes, twelve!) companies that make up the first 2022 class of the Techstars Anywhere Accelerator, which kicks off today in person in San Diego, California! After an all virtual 2021 year, we’re so excited to be back together with founders. Today we’re welcoming founders from the United States, France, UK, Colombia, Chile, and Mexico to Techstars.
It takes a great team to support these great founders and I’d love to take a minute to introduce a few new faces on the Techstars Anywhere team. Joining us as Investment Principal is Melani Gordon, a former CEO, angel investor, and startup coach who will be helping the founders build great companies through the accelerator program and the Techstars network. Leading operations is our new Program Manager Carly Forcade who joins us from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst. And Ileana Gonzalez, our Venture Associate based in San Antonio, TX, who is constantly on the lookout for great founders building great companies. Together, we’re welcoming these twelve new companies to Techstars Anywhere today.
The Techstars Anywhere January Class of 2022 represents our ongoing commitment to investing in diverse teams. Of the 12 companies, three are led by women CEOs, two are led by veterans, and 9 out of the 12 companies are led by CEOs that identify as racially or ethnically diverse. We are proud to have 10 of the 12 companies led by underrepresented CEOs. Thank you to our sponsors, partners, mentors, and Techstars alumni who help make Techstars Anywhere successful.
Please join me in welcoming the Techstars Anywhere January Class of 2022!

The Techstars worldwide network helps entrepreneurs succeed. Founded in 2006, Techstars began with three simple ideas—entrepreneurs create a better future for everyone, collaboration drives innovation, and great ideas can come from anywhere. Now we are on a mission to enable every person on the planet to contribute to, and benefit from, the success of entrepreneurs. In addition to operating accelerator programs and venture capital funds, we do this by connecting startups, investors, corporations, and cities to help build thriving startup communities. Techstars has invested in more than 4,000 companies with a combined market cap of $106B. www.techstars.com
