01. What's one lesson you would share with your younger self?

There's NOTHING you can't accomplish! Just because there isn't someone like you at the top doesn't mean you can't climb and achieve all your dreams. Be a team leader and always strive for better.

02. Share the name of an exceptional person who made a difference in your life, and explain how.

Houyada Chamoun was like a second mother to me. She's a badass immigrant from Syria who dominates in the engineering field, and a woman who demands excellence and respect. Leading by example, she is always thoughtful and thorough in her work. She was a shining example that if you put in the work, you'll reap the benefits and pave the way for those to follow!

03. What advice would you give to other founders who share your situation or background?

If you don't feel represented in your position or field, take that opportunity to set a precedent for excellence! I'm proud to be a Latina, first generation Brazilian immigrant, and part of the LGBTQ community.

04. What drives you?

Solving problems is my passion. I love to understand pain points, build teams, and create products that amaze and astonish! Everyday is a challenge with a great potential for victory!

05. What makes you YOU?

I'm a female, lesbian, first generation Brazilian immigrant and entrepreneur working in the notoriously male dominated areas of sports and tech. No part of my journey has been simple — but I'm stronger for that. I'm driven to solve problems for people who are underrepresented and have a firm belief that tenacity and hard work always pay off.
